December 13, 2015

The second season of 'Your face Sounds Familiar' premiered on September 12, 2015 replacing 'The Voice Kids' season 2. Hosted by Billy Crawford and accompanied by Melai Cantiveros (season 1 winner). The judges were still Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano and Jed Madela.

The concept of the show is to impersonate well-known personalities.

The following are the participating performers in this season:

Denise Laurel – Actress
Sam Concepcion – Actor and singer (Little Big Star, Big Division-Winner)
Michael Pangilinan – Singer
Eric Nicolas – Comedian
Kakai Bautista – Comedienne
Myrtle Sarrosa – Cosplayer and host (Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 4-Winner)

My First Ever Mercury Drug Suki Day Book 2016

December 01, 2015
1338 CM Recto Ave., Sta. Cruz, Manila

This is my first ever Mercury Drug Suki Day Book. I saw this book last year but wasn't able to get one because I did not earn any points from my purchases. Good thing I got hooked with Mogu Mogu. For every 320ML purchase, you get 1 suki point. To get this book, you need to have at least 30 suki points. If you'll calculate everything to get this you need to spend at least PHP840.00 (PHP28 x 1point x 30pcs).

Mogu Mogu 320ML PHP28.00

If you non-special points, every accumulated purchase worth PHP200.00 is equivalent to 1 point.

By the way, to get suki points, you should have a Suki Card to begin with. Suki Card Online Application here. You need to present a Mercury Drug receipt for a single or cumulative purchase worth PHP1,000.00.

Taking Gifting to the Next Level

Christmas wish list for myself
1. Good health for my whole family, most especially Nanay, and full-recovery of my sister Elvie.
2. Own an iPhone 6s, 64GB/128GB.
3. Travel abroad, either Singapore or Thailand.
4. Own a DSLR Camera with complete set of lenses.
5. Own a 2T external memory for my TV Series and movie collections.

Family is always on top of everything you want in life but you can't deny the fact that material things will give you a little satisfaction specially if you're away your your family and you're longing for them.

Christmas gift ideas for my loved ones this year
1. Gift cheques for them to buy whatever they want.
2. Family outing around Zamboanga Peninsula.
3. Family photo album printed in a glossy paper just like in the magazines.

A little bonding with them is just enough. Talking or just seeing them somehow every year its already blessing. Memories are best keep in print no matter how the digital evolution nowadays. Glossy printed paper is not bad to adopt the said evolution.

Plan to give back to others this Christmas
1. Share the blessings to others specially if I win this contest.
2. Pack groceries to be given to the 'basureros' (I can't call them garbage collector coz they don't collect them, they just get whatever they can sell and arrange the rest so that it wont look messy) in our village.
 3. Donate used-clothes to the recently typhoon Lando victims in North Luzon.

I don't usually give anything, even a coin to the street kids because I feel like I am not helping them in any way but teaching them how to be lazy and just rely on the people passing by in the street. I can see them everyday. They're not getting smaller but they're growing in number. Simply because there's lot of money in the street. Filipino's are so helpful to the needy without knowing, it didn't become a need to them anymore because it become a business. But gift-giving to those who really in need, I can give my little share.

Speaking of gift-giving, check out the SM Cares Bears of Joy campaign and know how you can take part in the season of “gift-ing” (http://smcares.com.ph/newsevents/?p=993)

SM Christmas Bears of Joy. There's joy in giving this Christmas! For just Php200, you get to keep one bear and donate the other to the children from various orphanages and charitable institutions through the SM Cares Program. #SMBearsOfJoy #MerrySMChristmas.

The 'Pabebe Wave'!

October 2, 2015

A lot of people following #AlDub showed their support to them by posting their own version of 'pabebe wave' during their declaration of 'National Pabebe Wave Day' on September 26, 2015. Some of them posted even after September 26.

#AlDubEBforLOVE Making Wave Internationally

September 29, 2015

We can't deny the fact that AlDub broke twitter history in the Philippines. Over 25 million tweets for AlDubEBforLOVE. Bryan White, grammy award winning artist, the singer of 'God Gave Me You' which now can be recognizable as the theme song of AlDub, post several tweets about them and promised to meet them (AlDub) soon!

Bryan White

Erika Page White (Bryan's wife)

Here's the funny thing, even the twitter customer service of Smart Communications, use the ALDubEBforLOVE hashtag in addressing their customers' concerns. #Kaloka!

I tried myself for this "pabebe wave" but I looked like.. uh.. whatever!

How to get NBI Clearance in UN Avenue (Main) [2015]

August 4, 2015
NBI Clearance Center, U.N. Avenue (Main) Ermita, Manila

I don't know exactly when this process started but definitely this is the new process now compare to last year and kinda requires you to check their site and register in order you to get clearance. If you are kinda low-tech yet, better ask help from your children, relatives or friends who has at least knowledge how this thing work.

Anyway, you'll be given an assistance how to do it online by NBI Personnel in their online booth.

Step 1. Go to https://www.nbi-clearance.com and sign up.

Take note: You need to have a valid email address for this registration. For those who don't have valid email address yet, go to www.gmail.com or www.yahoomail.com and sign-up.

Just follow the instruction in the website until you get a transaction number. This will be your ticket for the next step, which is payment.

Step 2. Proceed to payment. There are options to choose from in paying your clearance in the website. Just click to the best option that is applicable to you.

Take note: You need to pay additional service fee charges that varies depending on your chosen option from PHP5 to PHP25.

- Banks, over the counter (BDO, BPI and Metrobank + PHP25 service fee)
- Banks, online (BDO Internet Banking, BPI ExpressOnline/Mobile-Fund Transfer, BPI Express Online-Bills Payment, Metrobankdirect, RCBC AccessOne, Unionbank EON, Unionbank Internet Banking and UCPB Connect + PHP25 service fee)
- Mobile payment (via Globe GCash + PHP5 service fee)
- Bayad Center (+ PHP25 service fee)

Take note: Once you have a transaction number, you can also pay them over-the-counter in NBI Cashiers without additional charges. But bare in mind because there's no additional charges, expect a long line.

Step 3. Proceed to encoding. This time, a little bit faster than before (if you applied during their manual transactions, you can relate with me) because they don't have to encode your data one by one. For the new applicants, you only need to smile at the camera, sign and then digital finger printing. If you're not HIT, you may proceed to printing. Hola, you're done! But if otherwise, then you need to go back after 10 days just like my case. Grrrr!
