John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo are the Box-Office King and Queen in the 44th Box-Office Entertainment Awards (2013)



The winners were announced on Thursday by organizers Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, following the deliberations held Sunday in Cabalen Restaurant, Quezon City.

An annual recognition of the most popular and commercially viable performers in Philippine showbiz, the Box-Office Entertainment Awards is the only mainstream showbiz award-giving body that announces all its honorees in advance.

John Lloyd and Bea are this year’s Box-Office King and Box-Office Queen for the movie The Mistress, the second-highest grossing Filipino film last year.

The awarding ceremonies will be held on May 19, 2013 at the AFP Theater, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
